WHY
JUSTICE IS GLOBAL
For the last forty years, multinational corporations and the politicians who serve them have created a form of globalization that benefits the few and sold out working people across the world. This has caused tremendous suffering and created a long-simmering frustration that is boiling over in the form of right-wing nationalist movements taking power across the world.
THE PROBLEM
-
The top 1% and .001% have captured a huge share of global income and wealth, leaving many everyday people struggling to get by.
-
Fossil fuel CEOs have been blocking key aspects of climate policy. They want to blame other countries for the mess they created to avoid doing their fair share to stop this crisis. While they profit off polluting our planet, millions of people, especially working-class communities, people of color, and people in developing countries are paying for the impact of climate change with their lives.
-
Right-wing movements are channeling this suffering into a destructive blend of racism and economic nationalism, and they’re winning across the globe.
OUR VISION
To save the planet from climate catastrophe, to stop our politics from descending into further nationalist violence, and to build better lives for everyone, we need a
grassroots movement for global justice.
